Porth Y Wylfa - small 3D wall sculpture
£170.00
Description
Hand-constructed assemblage made from found objects sourced by hand from the coastline of Anglesey in North Wales.
Driftwood, plastic shards, industrial clip secured with red fishing line.
Backstory
The materials for this piece were gathered by my family and I on 18th February 2025 from Porth Y Wylfa, a secluded bay on the North Coast of Anglesey. We took a blustery walk across the headland to see the decommissioned, almost Brutalist, Wylfa power station. The piece was created later that day, in the dim winter light whilst the driftwood was still damp.
