Porth Cwyfan Map | reclaimed wood contemporary textile wall sculpture | Ethical and sustainable art.
The image shows two artworks made from found objects. One is made from an oval shaped piece of weathered brown wood. It has plastic, cloth and cardboard attached to it with small sticthes.

Sculpture and assemblage created through an intuitive and improvised process of hand construction using found objects and materials gathered by hand from the coastline of Anglesey, a place rooted in family history and deep personal connection.

The work reflects on memory where making becomes an act of reconnection. Through the process of transformation, what was once lost, discarded or forgotten is reimagined. Pieces both fragile and resilient carry an emotional weight, quietly holding stories of loss, connection and renewal revealing new narratives and untold histories.
