Commissions

Most of the pieces I have created have a memory attached to them which I have added as a backstory to the items in my shop. Some of them are stories about people, places and moments in time and some are simply about the enjoyment I find in the act of creating. Some of the pieces, particularly domestic objects like My Mother’s Spoon are very special to me offering a connection to the past and people who are no longer here.

Five | Recycled eco-friendly wall sculpture.
Image shows a rectangle of weathered wood with five small splintered of wood attached to it with yellow, orange and blue thread binding.

I am often given found objects by people who know me and my work, small gifts that to me represent relationships and little flashes into other people’s lives. Not all make it into a piece, but several have; a splintered shard of wood from a painted skirting board and a broken wooden golf tee are a few gifts that were used in Five pictured here.
