Description
Hand-constructed wall sculpture made from found materials sourced by hand from the coastline of Anglesey in North Wales. Driftwood and plastic bound with orange rope thread.
Backstory
The pieces tethered to the driftwood with a single strand of thread sat neatly in the ready-made groove. The brick-coloured plastic aligning nicely with the lines adding a depth of colour and contrast to the weather worn textures and salt-bleached surfaces. Memories emerged, sitting quietly watching boats on trailers slowly slide into the sea as helmsmen scrambled to take charge.
