Haar - small 3D wall sculpture

Description

Hand-constructed wall sculpture made from found materials sourced by hand from the coastline of Anglesey in North Wales. Driftwood, rope and plastic bound with blue rope threads.

Backstory

I’ve been asked in the past how name my pieces. I chose ‘Haar’ - a cold sea fog because it took me by surprise, surfacing a moment on Porth Tyn Tywyn beach in Anglesey. My son Jacob, age four or five at the time and my dad walked together, side by side, slowly emerging out of a thick white mist carpeting the shoreline and rocky outcrop where they had been searching for crabs.
