Balsa - small 3D wall sculpture

Description

Hand-constructed wall sculpture made from found materials sourced by hand from the coastline of Anglesey in North Wales. Driftwood and orange plastic bound in stripes with blue rope threads.

Backstory

Binding objects together with rope is a very slow and pleasurable process particularly when using wood, not least in this case where the plastic found its own home in a ready-made groove.

Mounted on MDF with a recycled 'ring pull' hanger
