Spoon 3 - small 3D wall sculpture

Description

Wooden ice cream spoon hand bound in stripes with orange, blue and black rope thread.

All materials sourced by hand from the coastline of Anglesey in North Wales.

Backstory

There is an ice cream shop in Rhosneigr called Chaplins. Every time we are in Anglesey my son asks that, by the end of the day, wherever we are, can we go to Rhosniegr, by which he means can I have an ice cream. Bright blue bubble gum flavour is his favourite, he’s gluten free so it’s always a tub and a spoon.

Mounted on 6 mm MDF with a recycled 'ring pull' hanger on the back.
