No. 34 - handbound reclaimed wood sculpture
Sold out£40.00

Hand constructed wooden sculpture bound with knotted pink, blue and black rope thread sourced by hand from the coastline of Anglesey. The wood is recalimed from North Yorkshire, remnants from when our decking stairs were replaced.
Backstory
I have several of these small houses made with offcuts of decking posts. Each one has a number that relates to a house I have lived in.
No. 34 was a house I shared in Aigburth, Liverpool after I finished my Fine Art degree. Many happy memories of Sefton Park, nights in clubs, pubs and so many gallery openings in the 90’s. Not so happy memories of tenant, Charlie, who made the house smell of fags and left his washing out on the line in the rain for days.
Materials
Rope and wood.
